Sometimes when you watch one of the AI animations and then read the dream which inspired it, you just have to scratch your head about some of the resulting images! How did the AI come up with THAT image? What could it possibly have been responding to to find and include that concept?
In the case of helm-king-8694‘s dream, I was really interested in the subject – having had dreams of ominous experiences on trains myself. But at one point in the animation there suddenly appears what I can only describe as a close up of a gold statue of a bird’s head (or maybe it’s a dragon). Reading over the dream description, I cannot imagine what provoked the finding of this image! Can you?
My closest guess? “Proper scary.” I like imagining that the “personality” of the AI is for some reason especially deeply and profoundly scared by brass sculptures of eagles or something! So that’s what it associates as proper scary. What happened in its artificial life to have created this unique kind of ornithophobia?
