Dear Sheppey, how many of you dream in colour? According to an article in The New York Times, nearly 12% of us dream in grayscale. I’m not sure I agree. Not having a strong memory of colour in a dream doesn’t necessarily mean the dream lacked colour – perhaps the colours just weren’t noteworthy. It seems far fetched to me that we would inhabit a waking world of colour and a sleeping world of black and white. Maybe wharf-sunset-5248 would agree with me? Their dream this week was full of colour and has produced one of the most joyful dream visualisations I’ve seen so far. We are shown smiles, laughing faces, a celebrating crowd of people. In one scene, a group is literally jumping up and down with joy as colourful blobs float around them. It feels to me like the AI has had fun with this one. What do you think?
